How does HEALTHCARE INTERNATIONAL help you to recover your health ?

A step-by-step guide

1. Requesting help: Please fill in your personal und medical information. Return the signed request form to Healthcare International, either by mail or fax. Allow 3 days for processing by Healthcare International.

2. Sending your medical records: You will then be contacted by Healthcare International and asked about further details of your medical history, previous tests and treatments you have received. You will also be asked to send medical records and X-ray films which are relevant to your current medical problem to Germany.

3. Finding the best doctor - "matching": Your records will be analysed by Healthcare International's experts together with leading specialists in different medical centers. This way, an objective assessment of your illness can be obtained by combining the opinion of several experts. Based on this assessment, the best doctor and medical center will be chosen for you.

4. Treatment plan and cost estimate: After this, Ibn Sina compiles a treatment plan and cost estimates for you, which you may receive by fax or e-mail. Ibn Sina will suggest the doctor and medical center it considers best for the treatment of your illness but also provide several alternatives for comparison.

5. Arranging your treatment in Germany: When you have decided to come to Germany for treatment, Ibn Sina will arrange all medical appointments, transport in Germany and accommodation for you and your family. We advise you NOT to travel before everything is completely arranged for you in order to save time and money.

6. Arriving in Germany: You will be received by Ibn Sina staff at the airport. If you need help during the flight or at the airport, Ibn Sina make all necessary arrangements with the airline. Immigration and other formalities will also be taken care of by Ibn Sina staff. You will then be taken directly to the hospital by limousine or helicopter, where Ibn Sina staff takes care of all hospital admission formalities for you.

7. Hospital Stay and Treatment: During the hospital stay you will be treated by Germany's most experienced medical experts, most of them Professors of international reputation. Ibn Sina staff will accompany you to your medical appointments and tests to translate and explain the medical procedures. If you wish a personal assistant will be assigned to you while you are in the hospital.

8. Discharge from the Hospital: At the end of your hospital stay, Ibn Sina takes care of all financial and discharge procedures. Ibn Sina arranges your transfer from the clinic to the airport, all check-in and custom procedures at the airport and arranges medical support during your flight back home if necessary.

9. Rehabilitation Treatment in one of Germany's renowned rehabilitation clinics or spa's can be arranged after discharge from the hospital. This form of treatment is particulary reccommended after orthopaedic, neurosurgical or cardiac surgery to help to regain your strength and mobility for a safe return to your daily life.

10. Follow-Up: After your return to your home country, Ibn Sina forwards all medical records to your doctors at home, translates and communicates medical results, follows-up the progress of your health by staying in touch with you and your doctors, supplies necessary medication and medical equipment (wheelchairs etc.) and arranges follow-up medical tests and treatment in Germany.
